California Healthy Workplace Advocates offers training and resources to prevent workplace bullying. We provide union training, customized training for any organization, legislative advocacy, and educational materials to create safer work environments. Our Website https://bullyfree-workplace.org is geared towards education on this subject. We now know that Workplace Bullying damages employees lives for long periods of time. It also affects their families and in extreme cases, it can ruin these families forever. We have been around since 2004 advocating against bullying in the workplace.
Our founders were a teacher and a recruiter who were bullied to a high extreme level. One of our founders had a nervous disorder from her being bullied. This disorder also affected her speech. We were founded by Carrie Clark and Michelle Smith. Ms. Clark was a English as a Second Language Teacher in the Washington School District. Her bully was the District School Administrator. Ms. Smith was a Student Recruiter at Phoenix University and who witnessed managers bullying employee. 6 weeks later, she lost her job over the witnessing of these events.
