Quick question for the local business owners in this group.

In the last two years, has your business made a technology investment that didn't deliver what was promised?

I ask because almost every owner I talk to says yes. And almost none of them know what it actually cost them. Not the contract price. The real number, including the internal hours, the workarounds, the consultants brought in to fix what the vendor couldn't, and the decisions that didn't get made while leadership was consumed by the mess.

I have watched owners approve an $80K system and absorb a $300K problem.

What did your implementation actually cost you? Not the contract. The real number.
