Of courses not, he had leveraged himself through employees showing up for work each day to sell those products to his customers. By 1975, Wallmart grew to 125 stores selling $340 million dollars of other people's products. Sam wasn't selling his own products, or manufacturing any of these products. Sam Walton was just an average Independent affiliate or representative for products made by other companies...  In 2015, Walmart sold $485 billion dollars of other people's products. The key to their success for 65 years was to sell products that people already wanted to buy and needed.
