About Us
Wings and Wonder Nature Program in Salisbury, MD, offers child-led, Reggio Emilia-inspired learning on a homestead with a food forest, chickens, and turkeys. Kids explore art, gardening, and sensory play in a unique outdoor classroom.
How We Got Started
I have been an early childhood educator since 1992. In 2019, I received a degree in Child Development from Concordia St. Paul. After extensive research, while working with special needs children, I came to understand the importance of time spent in nature to a child's development. Wings and Wonder was started as a means to share the importance of nature play and exploration with families of young children and the community. Learning does not have to take place in a classroom.
