(more) Your first step should be to reach out to the individual(s) posting the untruthful reviews about you and lead with a sincere apology ... "I am truly sorry for the (pain/disrespect/poor customer service/frustration/embarrassment/fill in the issue) you endured on your last visit." Why apologize when you've done nothing wrong? Unfortunately, it is impossible for everyone to see each occurrence in life exactly the same way! Whether or not the review poster is telling the truth from your perspective ... they have a reason for posting the negative/untruthful review. Leading with an apology is generally the safest and sometimes fastest route to resolving the conflict ... imagined or otherwise. Have you ever experienced conflict with a loved one only to find out, after you unleashed your "rage," you actually misunderstood something they said or did? Imagine for a moment, the review poster simply misunderstood something that occurred. Leading with an apology and offering to resolve the issue at hand in a manner that would please the "injured party" gives you the opportunity to have a conversation with them that can potentially lead to a complete understanding ... and healing. Once the "real problem" is resolved, it is much easier to ask the reviewer to remove the negative review and even post a positive review explaining how you resolved the "conflict" to their satisfaction.
