San Diego's premier dockside accommodations and yacht charter company. Located on Shelter Island in America's Cup Harbor at Shelter Cove Marina, BoatBNB offers some of the most fantastic waterfront views of Point Loma and Downtown San Diego. Experience what it's like to stay on a yacht!

How We Got Started

15 years ago a 47' Hardin sailboat was abandoned at my marina. This boat "Slipaway" was a classic world cruiser in her day that had been neglected for many years. I refurbished and restored her with the intent to sell her and a friend asked me to let her spend a weekend on her before I put her up for sale - 'thus the beginning idea for the Boat Bed & Breakfast concept'.
Fifteen years later I have a thriving Yacht Rental/Charter business currently with 9 boats in the fleet!

Keeping our guests satisfied that our boats are modern and comfortable. We are not like a typical hotel, but the special touches like nice linens and towels; toiletries; being able to cook aboard like you would if you rented a condo or home require us to keep our boats modern and fresh.
