I am in my 40th year as a practicing attorney. I have an outstanding staff consisting of my paralegal, Ms. Terri Kragen, and my dedicated assistant, Ms. Mona Strobeck. My law practice is focused solely on family law matters including child custody, visitation, child and spousal support, business valuation and asset division. Additionally I am used by other lawyers as a privately compensated temporary judge to hear and decide matters for their clients. I also provide services as a mediator in family law matters in addition to serving as a consultant to clients in mediation.

I am a Diplomat in the American College of Family Trial Lawyers, a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and a Fellow in the International Academy of Family Lawyers. I am a member of the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. I have been listed in Best Lawyers in America since 2008. I have been named by Best Lawyers in America the 2015 Family Law "Lawyer of the Year" and the 2017 and 2022 Family Law Mediator of the Year in San Diego.
