There are many excellent generic manufacturers of findings, all the little parts needed to create jewelry but too time consuming to make yourself and remain profitable. If that will work for you try Stuller, Cobb, Quality Gold, R Findings, the list goes on and on. If you need hand made parts,...

There are many excellent generic manufacturers of findings, all the little parts needed to create jewelry but too time consuming to make yourself and remain profitable. If that will work for you try Stuller, Cobb, Quality Gold, R Findings, the list goes on and on. If you need hand made parts, try one of the online services where you look for somebody to do the work you don't have time to do. Freelancer is one that comes to mind. There are others. Attend one of the major US jewelry trade shows such as JCK. You'll find what you need there.
If all she wants is for you to secure her diamond then have your setter examine it and reseat the diamond. Or explain to her that it was done properly the first time and you stand behind your work. Every setter has their own signature way of seating a diamond and if done properly all will keep...
