I am a birth certified birth doula, CD(DONA) and a Postpartum Doula.

My Postpartum care:

I have a passion for helping to shape the family dynamic. I think that it is vitally important for first time parents to see a calmer and easier routine with their new baby. Most new parents are overwhelmed and exhausted. My postpartum training helps me to concentrate on empowering parents to have a more enjoyable and rewarding first few months with their infant. I help them build the confidence that they need to handle a daily new experience with their family.

I concentrate on baby and birth parent care watching for red flags. I intervene when some minor occurrence may seem major and give reassurance that all will be “OK.” I have training in lactation, breast, chest and bottle feeding, infant healthcare, sleep consulting and parenting skills.

I work with a diverse group of families - different nationalities, race, gender and religions. My background, living in Europe for 18 years has given me exposure to a variety of customs and I specialize in different and difficult prenatal experiences.

I love my profession! It is a joy working with new life. It is a joy helping to create happy families!
I have many wonderful clients as extended family. They are happy to give me a shout out and an excellent verbal reference.
I have raised two fabulous children over several continents and am now a lucky grandparent!

Birth Doula:

I am committed to helping parents achieve the beautiful birth experience that they desire.

I have an extensive education program for both parents to deal with the exciting challenges in the birthing place, hospital or home.
We work on many techniques, to help labor progress smoothly. I teach movement, breathing,
meditation skills which make labor easier and put parents in more control of their birthing experience.

Preparation is a huge part of a successful birth for new as well as second (third and fourth) time parents. It is crucial to learn a skill set that can eliminate fear and make the experience more exciting and enjoyable!
