About Us
Journey of Hope is a Trauma Responsive evidence based non-profit supporting Women, Children, Youth, and LBGTQIA+ fleeing violence, transitioning from incarceration and detention spaces, suffering in addiction and trauma related mental illness. We use the best Gender Responsive Evidence Based Practices, Principles and Programs to serve these survivors! Interrupting the Sexual Assault to Prison Pipeline in Utah!
How We Got Started
Shannon Miller Cox retired from UDC as a Supervisor for Adult Probation and Parole after 20 years of service, in 2014. She retired to create Journey of Hope, Inc. to serve all harmed women, girls, and LBGTQIA+ and interrupt the sexual assault to prison pipeline in Utah.
