SOLUTIONS TREATMENT CENTER IS NOW OFFERING TELE-THERAPY FOR ALL OF OUR MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT SERVICES.
Offering services in both Santa Fe and Albuquerque locations. At Solutions Treatment Center we believe that the core issues at the root of the problem must be healed in order for treatment to be successful and long-lasting. We understand that each person is a complex individual with his/her own unique story, experiences, needs and goals.
We provide treatment services for Alcoholism, Drug Addiction, Trauma, Sexual Abuse, Grief Loss, PTSD, Dual Diagnosis, Eating Disorders, Bipolar, Self Harm, Anxiety, Panic, War Trauma, Sex Love Addiction, Co-dependency, Depression, Anorexia, Bulimia, Compulsive Overeating, Personality Disorders, based on best clinical fit for mental health and addiction issues.
How We Got Started
After working in residential treatment centers for over 20 years, and feeling a lack of options for aftercare or good dual diagnosis programs to intervene before someone gets to the point of needing in patient treatment, Solutions Treatment Center was started to meet those needs.

If a person is "addicted" by nature it means it is a behavior the person has no control over and that has begun to control them. I have not seen anyone overcome true addiction on their own in my 30 years in the field. However, I do see people behaving in a way that looks like addiction but it is not an actual addiction but more of a way to self medicate and for a period compulsively. When you deal with the underlying issues and heal the reasons for the self medication, that need may dissipate, therefore the behavior is no longer necessary.
I do feel folks can do a lot of healing and recovery work on their own, but it believe it takes much longer and can be much more lonely that way.
For me it is complicated, for one they are mental health clients and they have to be handled gently, the other piece is that I deal mostly with insurance for payments which can take several weeks if not months to pay. The best I can do is estimate costs prior to the beginning of services then...

For me it is complicated, for one they are mental health clients and they have to be handled gently, the other piece is that I deal mostly with insurance for payments which can take several weeks if not months to pay. The best I can do is estimate costs prior to the beginning of services then adjust as insurance payments come in. We do collect some upfront costs but insurance contracts limit us to deductibles and co insurance. We do try to obtain a credit card to keep on file, have a financial contract and will work with people on payment plans which include signing a promissory note. If clients make an effort to do what they can, we work with them. If they refuse to respond, eventually we may send to collections. I am in the mental health field to help people, while I have to pay my staff and keep the lights on, I do offer sliding scale and partial scholarships. Of course with insurance companies I am not so forgiving, we appeal denials and report them to state insurace auditors when they are being unfair.
I usually get together with a few treatment centers each year-semi annually and host a networking luncheon. Everyone brings literature, and takes 2-3 minutes to introduce themselves and their specialties over a great lunch. Leaving time afterwards for networking and asking more in depth questions...
