As a vocal supporter of voting with my dollars by spending them in my community on local businesses, I suggest this practice to every consumer that I speak with. What I am doing to help those in my network is to do the homework/research on getting through this crisis on a positive note, as well as dealing with the negative,  and share it on a daily basis, to nurture these relationships from the safe distance (virtual). In my practice, not everyone who finds me is a good fit with my methods. Either the rapport doesn't click, or the issue isn't my expertise. I always keep a handful of colleagues within reach to refer to (e.g. perhaps a male client would do better with a male clinician for various reasons, etc.). I'm still working on the build of Simple As 123, an app to use in conjunction with CBT, to raise emotional intelligence. I'll announce when I launch. I supervise 3 interns. I never joined FB based on what I learned back in '06 about some of the funding from a DARPA agency (TIA).  I don't really get Instagram or posting pictures as a vehicle to advertise my app, Simple As 123. I'm actually developing a YouTube channel with my business partner as a platform to share some of our innovations in binaural beats/subliminal affirmations. So I have to say that YT is the social media that I use for business.

I intend to spend 90% of my holiday gift budget (and will use cash) on Main Street. (Yes, once in awhile I go to the Promenade.)  I'm a "regular" at many Ocean Park establishments, and plan to remain that way happily!              #ShopLocal #HappyHolidays (more) I intend to spend 90% of my holiday gift budget (and will use cash) on Main Street. It was a pivotal experience because it changed the course of my life. Through this process I discovered LinkedIn which has turned out to be a widely used, read and fertile hiring platform. I recommend it for anyone seeking growth through new employment opportunities. It really is a whole new world out there!

This neighborhood, with a heavy tech-company presence, offers dozens of meetups every day and evening of the week, including Sundays. To get informed of these meetups is easy. Join groups that relate to your particular interests. From the Meetup site you'll receive emails announcing times, places and descriptions of events. It's just that simple. RSVP then attend. I met my current business partner through this network, just by going to events of interest!
