Business owners that create their own luck will paint a picture of success in recovery. The pandemic gave us all time to pause and think about our businesses, our careers, family and how to create a better work-life balance. We were able to stop, take a breath and measure what is most important. For me, I had to let go of my obsession with growing the top line of my business and realize that I like having time to spend with family and friends. To relax and read a good book, or six and to really start to enjoy life more. And, yes, I have read 6 books in the last 2 weeks. All summer reads, no business books, that's next.... I like this new view of my life and my business. It's sustainable and makes a whole world of sense.
