I like to keep a spare vehicle, and I like to drive my trucks/cars until they are ready to go to auto-heaven.  I always list them as a mechanic special for parts.  Ironically people flock to those ads and I usually sell within a few days. If I have a wrecked car I post a pic of the damage and say "bring wrecker" they do and they buy.
