Congrats on turning things around in your life! In addition to all you have on your multi-faceted 'shingle' out there, I think you should add a 'HOOK!' to your branding and communications. Use an edited simplified version of your story as this hook.  e.g. 'I went from nowhere to everywhere!'... (more) Congrats on turning things around in your life! In addition to all you have on your multi-faceted 'shingle' out there, I think you should add a 'HOOK!' to your branding and communications. Use an edited simplified version of your story as this hook.  e.g. 'I went from nowhere to everywhere!' Perhaps use a 2 part simple cartoon to give your hook some presence. Part one could be a sad cartoon version of you next to a sign marked 'Nowhere', deliberately not showing the reality and down side of serious homelessness. Part two could be a very happy version of you with your arms flung wide and the names of world cities that you help people to travel to floating with confetti and balloons in the air.  (Note: I'm a cartoonist, and also ran a successful advertising/graphic design business for 25 years in NYC before moving my business 2 hours west to PA. I think visually. Visuals and good concepts work!)

For a local market to get sales at a bookstore, don't overlook a teaser postcard mailed snail mail, or even a print newspaper ad.
