About Us
We are the official State of Florida Civilian Conservation Corps Museum, celebrating the efforts of the young men of the CCC who built the original eight state parks in Florida. The museum is housed in an original CCC structure, built in 1939 as the recreation building for the CCC camps, SP-3 and SP-10, Highlands Hammock State Park and the Florida Tropical Garden and Arboretum. Highlands Hammock was the first state park in Florida.

I think it's a great idea. Thats 40 hours at $15 and hour... not quite a basic living wage but better than nothing.
