About Us

Mind Alchemy. That’s the best way I can describe what I do in marketing. Every marketing campaign begins with understanding your target market. That’s where the magic begins.

I’m a psychometrician which is someone trained in psychology, measurement, and statistics. So with that I uncover the essence of the hearts and minds of target markets to create transformative marketing campaigns.

From data analytics to exploratory research to deep dives into demographics, I transform the mundane into a nuanced, kaleidoscope tale of the human experience. Marketing campaigns precisely grounded in the human heart and mind are engaging and inspiring to action.

I work directly with businesses and as a collaborator with marketing firms. If you’re a business in need of a full-service marketing team, I can help create that experience for you.

How We Got Started

This firm is the culmination of years of experience and training. I learned how to write press releases on an electric typewriter. After working in and out in PR and messaging for years, I went to school to become a psychologist and ended up in the nerdiest part of psychology — psychometrics which is a branch of psychology that is concerned with measurement and statistics. Psychometrics lends itself well to a deep understanding of market data. Psychology is a natural foundation for understanding human behavior, including consumer trends. So after earning my degrees, winning a research award, and publishing as the statistician in a cost analysis paper for psychological treatment, I decided that I could help businesses understand those they serve and mine the gold nuggets of data they have about their customers. Every marketing campaign begins with understanding the hearts and minds of your target market. Psychometrics can precisely unlock the secrets of those hearts and minds.

As a psychometrician, I’m curious about the framing. The “givens” seem to pull to a particular opinion of the economy, which may result in extreme responses in both negative and positive directions.  (more) As a psychometrician, I’m curious about the framing. (more) It looks like you offer a service that helps small businesses and individuals figure out the confusing web of health insurance.  Where do people going looking for information on health insurance? Internet searches. Yes. But where else? I’m just brainstorming here. Would it be libraries? Community centers? Health and wellness expos? For small businesses where do they look? Same places different? Some people mentioned LinkedIn. That’s great for B2B. Also someone mentioned community events.  You can offer a freebie in service presentation to small businesses about general information (for example) and then say and if you need more help I can do that for this fee. 😀 Be where your customers are where they “discover” your type of service.  The in service and content are generally part of an overall strategy called “authors branding.”  You are marketing yourself as an expert, a go-to person, a resource. From there you can offer you paid services.  These are all options. There are many ways … effective ways … to promote yourself. My best advice is get inside the head of your potential customer, be where they look for information as a resource person. If you have different levels of service, make sure you offer them as solutions to problems.  ***edit. Authority branding. Autocorrect! Uuugh!

Thesauruses give you ideas and options for words to use. What you do with it… that’s your voice. You voice isn’t the source of your word acquisition. If it were, we’d all have the same one that sounds like our high school English teachers.   (more) Thesauruses give you ideas and options for words to use. What you do with it… that’s your voice.
