One: is the valPak delivered to your target market? Two: is it the best choice of media to reach your prospect? I will agree with Brad. It’s what you say that will make the difference. It’s your message.  I am big believer of offering tremendous value not discounting. You will want to determine if the cost of acquiring that customer is best served using this particular media. Or would an alternative 1 or 2 or even 3 better priced mediums connect with your market better. If you truly know who your target market is, you will know where they go to get the information they need. Following the marketing triangle will help guide your decisions. (As per Dan Kennedy) MARKET - who is your best prospect MEDIA - where they go to consume information MESSAGE - what you say to build trust that you can solve their problem I look at this triangle just like the fire triangle. It works like this:  you need air, ignition and fuel to make a fire. If you have all 3 correct it works marvellously. If you are lacking even on one side the fire never starts or goes out right away. (more) I wish I would have known about marketing. Attraction marketing. With no budget and no clue I copied what everyone else was doing. It was what I was led to believe marketing was, to let people know I was open for business. Years later I learned that I needed to market the problem I solved for my perfect client. Everything changed after that. If you aren’t letting your perfect client know that you can solve their biggest issue, do your business a favour and stop it. Learn how to use the conversion equation and attract all the clients you want. Conversion equation: Interrupt , Engage,  Educate, Offer.

As far as new leaders or aspiring staff who want to take in more responsibility in leadership. 1. Provide them with quality leadership training. 2. Assign them a mentor as well. But in this case they will shadow the mentor to observe how they lead.m, how they deal with difficult situations etc.  The underlying goal here it to train your staff so that they have all the tools they need to be successful in their new position. Then treat them well enough that even though they could leave you, they choose to stay.  How you treat your employees will determine the success of your business, and ultimately your success as the owner. If you wait, nothing happens. Take charge and be the change you want to see. if you are waiting on others to initiate, ask them what you can do to help and or speed up the process.
