You need to have a good, informative website that is easy to navigate. Younger generations rely on the internet to find the services that they need. I agree that joining and being active in the Chamber of Commerce is a good idea to make people in your community aware of your business. There are lots of good networking groups - check them out and find one or two that work for you.Take the time to talk to people and be interested in them. Tell people what it is that you do and why you are good at it. Ask for referrals - if you don't tell people that you are looking for customers no one will think to refer you. Do good work - personal referrals from existing clients is your best source of new work.
