What reading genre do you like the least and why?

I have an eclectic reading list and find I am drawn by the story rather than genre. However, spy thrillers have not been a part of my forever 'to be read' pile. They don't seem to appeal, maybe too many on the same theme? I like 'different and unique' stories.

I don't read Science Fiction or Fantasy as I've tried both and find little appeal. I like themes about people who act and talk in ways that seem rational and interesting for whatever period of history they are in. I have a large pile of books waiting to be read and am hoping to find something unique and interesting in each one.
