Local Discussions What's happening in the Skokie business community
Good morning, everyone! I’m exploring the idea of partnering with estate attorneys to attract private-pay clients and expand my business locally. Collaborating with them makes sense because estate planning often intersects with clients who need tailored, private-pay services. I’d love to learn if anyone has experience working with estate attorneys—has forming such partnerships helped grow your client base, and what strategies proved most effective?

It's true that growing pains are both good and, well, painful. As our business evolves, so do our processes, all in the name of maintaining top-notch customer service and satisfaction.
In the early days, we leaned heavily on text communication. Now, to ensure nothing falls through the cracks, we're encouraging our customers to use our portal. I recognize this shift has created some friction with customers who were used to the old way, and that's not ideal. However, we've stayed the course, and the result is better customer communication than ever.
I am curious, what challenges have you faced as your business has grown?

Just want to recommend DeNuccis in dt Highland Park if you need a good night out / dinner / wine etc. They opened a few months back and are the best restaurant in this town in my opinion.
Any other recommendations here neighbors?

And in the spirit of business and networking I’ll add that they really take pride in customer service. I had to wait 10 minutes to be seated later than my reservation and they hit me with a $100 gift card. Needless to say they turned a negative into a positive and I’ve been back several times since.
Happy that they can open their patio soon. It’s so tough for service industry businesses during cruel Chicago winters!
