We provide an unbiased third-party perspective to help business owners work "on their business" while being involved "in their business". We use creative problem solving, play and various tools for full engagement and collaboration.

How We Got Started

I have worked in Corporate America for many years and I am extremely grateful for all of the experience and credentials I have earned along the way. However I found myself wanting to give back in other ways. I took some 'mindfulness' time and began developing my own business plan for a small business consulting firm.

My research shows many small business owners are very good at "what they do", and not so many are good at formulating a business growth plan or planning for work-life-balance.

I believe my experience, knowledge, skill sets and network of professionals can help business owners plan and execute on their dreams for the future, particularly the business owners who say, "I'm not sure where to start."

(more) I specialize in helping businesses during challenging times, and my #1 priority is to listen to what my customers are facing and offer options, tools, and  education.  Through an open, honest, humble and sometimes vulnerable conversation we are able to outline many options to help the business.  Many times its having a trusted resource to talk with and be a sounding board for brainstorming new ideas. The feedback from my customers has been positive, enthusiastic, and heartfelt.   What's important is there is always a solution to a problem - what's the saying "Problems are opportunities in work clothes." ! The key is - Are you open to new ideas?  Are you willing to adapt to the changing times?  Are you willing to do what it takes to move your business forward? Paul - I recommend becoming your own marketer for a period of time.  The main reason I recommend this is so you can clearly articulate and be excited about your book and become your #1 publicist.   Here are some ideas: 1) I would reach out to local chambers, women's/men's clubs, networks, and... (more) Paul - I recommend becoming your own marketer for a period of time.  The main reason I recommend this is so you can clearly articulate and be excited about your book and become your #1 publicist.   Here are some ideas: 1) I would reach out to local chambers, women's/men's clubs, networks, and professional organizations, offer to speak on the topic of your book so you generate buzz about both the book and about YOU as the author.   2) I would also recommend you reach out to other authors and find out what they did.  It will help you avoid the pitfalls and prepare you for the journey. 3) Visit local bookstores and see what you can do to promote your book.  Partner with them in a book signing and generate local publicity.  Invite the press and do a press release. 4) Offer free copies of the book (or a snippet of the book to a select group of people.  This will allow you to capture their email/mailing addresses and help you solicit feedback on the book.  Ask the readers for referrals/testimonials on the book and publish it on your website. 5) Use social media to advertise your book.  Post teasers and follow up with testimonials.  Build excitement and mystery around the book. 6) Several author friends of mine have offered a .99 cent copy on Amazon for a short period of time.  This generated buzz and revenue at the same time.
