Catering By Dale began over 24 years ago as a full-service catering company providing off-premise catering. In 2017, Susan Thompson, Certified Wedding Consultant/owner of Vermont Made Weddings, purchased CBD after working exclusively with Dale Loeffler for over 11 years on her weddings. CBD Events LLC bought a new transport vehicle, turned it into a food truck, got a liquor license, developed the business as a one-stop solution for events & then covid hit. Using the food truck to stay afloat, selling lobster rolls and margs at The Point Bay Marina and other various locations was successful. CBD needed to make a move to a new commercial kitchen space in order to grow & maintain the to-go clientele that was established during this time. Today, COPPER AT DORSET at 100 Dorset St. in So. Burlington is thriving on all levels with daily lunch takeout, to-go meals, event space, bar, food truck & continues to provide top quality service for all off-premise events.
