I am the 2018 Realtor of the Year for the Southwestern Michigan Association of Realtors. Hold six designations and the Broker of Century 21 Affiliated of South Haven and owner of Big Blue Beach Rentals
How We Got Started
After 14 years of being a Realtor and working for the best in each niche of our market, I opened the South Haven office with Century 21 Affiliated to help bring Top Talent and knowledge to our market. I also opened Big Blue Beach Rentals to allow us to service our clients after the sale transaction.

There are plenty to look at, but I would say that getting my Resort & Second Home Property Specialist designation led me to being on the National Association of Realtors Committee or that designation. It allowed me to meet people across the globe and be in the Resort & Second Home Property Specialist course material. The people I have met have opened doors to people I would never of had the chance of meeting due to distance and sphere. I highly recommend that you always pursue learning your craft to the point that you become the expert and consultant that people turn to.

This is a very interesting topic and one that can now thanks to social media taken on for little cost that has a long reach.
Boosting posts on your facebook business page is one of the most effective ways to not just blanket cover an area, but one where you can use diagnostics to send out those boosts to a set person of income, age, sex, area, or whatever you choose to push your message to.
The costs of this is so fractional when compared to traditional paper and direct mailing ads.
Another way is to hold events at your office that entices people to come to your place. Be it a after hours open house, learning night such as how to class, to an annual anniversary party that you invite all of your clients/customers to.
You need to become the destination business of your industry and to do that, you have to make sure the people know you are there and want to be seen doing business with you.
