If I had to pick just one reason I would say giving up too soon. I think a lot of people hope that success will come easily and quickly and if they don't see that right away they move on.  It's also my opinion that lack of success is not entirely the fault of the network marketer. I think a lot of people hope that success will come easily and quickly and if they don't see that right away they move on.  It's also my opinion that lack of success is not entirely the fault of the network marketer. I've seen and been a part of some companies that don't make it very easy to succeed with their requirements. That said, the network marketer does need to dedicate time, effort and yes, money to building their business. I finally found a company and product that I'm passionate about with mentors who have been instrumental in guiding me. As a result, I view my business and the industry differently than i used to. Lastly, I've learned that it's not my job to try to "sell" everyone I come in contact with and convince them that they need to get involved. It's my job to "share" and work with people who want to get involved.
