It is hard to predict exactly the flow of visitors to South Padre Island this Holiday season. I would expect the current trend to continue through the next 6 months or so until a vaccine comes into widespread use. That trend is - people will want to travel somewhere they can easily social distance ( the beach and boardwalks at the birding and nature center, have hotels in the market that follow clean stay protocols ( Hilton Garden Inn , Courtyard by Marriott, La Quinta Inn and Suites and the La Copa Inn ), have touchless room service for food and beverage, have high speed WiFi and open spaces ( unused ballroom space ) for the kids to do schoolwork. South Padre Island fits like a glove with all of the above.
