SO Real Estate has changed the way we operate things now with this pandemic, everything being done virtual. People in my office are still closing deals but that is only because those clients are still employed and are considered essential workers. I have a couple closings that got postponed... (more) SO Real Estate has changed the way we operate things now with this pandemic, everything being done virtual. People in my office are still closing deals but that is only because those clients are still employed and are considered essential workers. I have a couple closings that got postponed because my clients are laid off. Other clients have decided to not list or buy yet until they feel like this has pasted and they are comfortable proceeding. That is ok, I am meeting my clients where they are at, with no pressure. Checking in on them to see how things are going and if there is anything I can do for them. So it has definitely slowed down during this time but expect a real surge when the restrictions lift. We are not considered essential employees while inspectors, title companies and mortgage companies are. I know makes no sense to us Realtors also. We still have a shortage of homes for sale in the downriver area! People still want to buy and sell homes but think they should wait until this pandemic passes. Problem will be then you have more competition. The time to buy and sell is now! Jeff Garner eXp Realty 734-436-2206
