How We Got Started

I’ve held many different jobs, because we’ve relocated so often. To date, we’ve made over 20 household moves! Yikes, y’all! The most applicable activities:

Typesetting/graphic arts company – worked with printers and advertising agencies in Upstate SC for 13 years
Racing coverage, mostly motocross – stringer for Cycle News on weekends, for 20 years, also created and published our own Southeast racing paper, KnobbyNews
Freelance writer
For 16 years I made use of my Botany degree in my own landscaping company, until sidelined by piriformis syndrome (look it up, it's ugly and hard to overcome). So I studied and taught myself SEO, Photoshop/Illustrator. Currently I'm branching out to include Yelp setup, Pinterest setup and local citations.

What's a vacation? ;-) EDIT: Boy, the past 2 years have taught me that if I didn't take time off for 'me' time, sooner or later it would catch up with me. Then there's the ongoing frenzy of more and more Google algorithm updates, et cetera. TIP: Not everything that appears to come from a financial institution is legit.
