For your best results definitely use wordpress. Simple to use with a few tutorials. If you can use Microsoft Word you will be able to work in wordpress fairly easy.

There are also SEO plugs you can use to help optimize your site. I would recommend using the paid versions of these plug-ins because you will have more options. I use All-in-one seo by Michael Tolbert, great plug in for seo.
