About Us

At dw2 Video Productions, we bring justice to life with powerful videos for personal injury attorneys. Since 2009, we've been the "go-to" company for crafting stories that win cases and hearts, all while saving you money. Let's make your case unforgettable.

dw2 Video Productions is a Springdale, Arkansas-based video production company focused on making affordable, high-quality video available for law firms and court reporting agencies. Some examples of the work we do are videotaped depositions synchronized to the transcript(s), redacting testimony, trial preparations, and creating long-form documentaries like A-Day-in-the-Life.

Our long-form documentary, which is sometimes called "A Day in the Life" documentary is different from most of what you've seen. We do not attempt to use shock and awe in our video productions, instead, we use the personal interviews of friends, family, co-workers, and others to tell the story of the person(s) who was injured.

Our goal is to tell the story of the injured through the eyes of those who knew that person best. It's the personal stories of how the person who was injured, affected their lives and what it means for them to be affected by their injury. Often, these stories reach levels that cannot be planned or expected because of the personal connections they have with one another and do not get revealed until we get into the interview.

How We Got Started

After a long career as a business analyst and a business systems analyst for a couple local companies, I succumbed to the economic downturn and was eventually laid off for a second time in my career. So, I decided to make my own way in business and turned my love of video into a profitable business in serving lawyers and law firms by doing video depositions, will signing ceremonies and my favorite, the documentary.

Then when the video is done, you can post it on YouTube, Facebook, and any other social media platform you have. Then if someone seems interested in your band, you can direct them to YouTube to see/hear you guys in action. When yo direct them to YouTube, you will have the ability to use YouTube analytics to see if they or others are checking your band out. It's up to you if you leave the comments open or not but I think it worth giving it a shot. A music video could cost you guy anywhere from $100 to $1,000 depending on who does the video and what you want. I know that there are always people who think they know how to shoot video but shooting a band, getting the audio right and producing the video is a lot more difficult that you might think. Before hiring someone to shoot/edit the video, take a look at what they have done and see if it's in line with what you want. In some cases, if you do a closed-set video shoot (no audience), your band can play any number of songs in as many takes as needed to get it right. Then, if you guys have a studio recording of those same songs, you can lay the studio recording over the video to make it look like it was recorded live. (a simple trick used by thousands of artists) Just make sure that the vocal or instrumental parts line up with the audio track. (which, by the way, should be playing during the closed set to make sure the band doesn't get out of synch with the music. Good luck.

My suggestion is to find a company to go work for. Jumping into media production on your own is very expensive and it takes a long time to become profitable. (more) Solomon - your question is confusing to me but I'll answer it in the way I think I understand it. First, looking for a website to help you find more clients is either expensive or a hoax. There are no magical websites that will bring you qualified leads right to your inbox. Finding qualified leads is the result of good old fashioned hard work. It's getting out there everyday and talking to people about what you do and showing them passion. Hard work is the answer. [SIDE NOTE: If a website claims they can bring you more clients, then its a scam and my advice is to stay away] Second part of your question, finding collaborators, look to your high schools, community college and university's. If the high schools have a TV Production program, there are some potential kids there that might be interested in collaborating with you. Likewise with the colleges. Good luck on your search.

When you have a potential client wanting cheap, you need to ask yourself: Do I want this person as a client? Usually those kind of people will be a pain in the neck if you land them. I've had too many of those kind who want a video production like you see on Discovery or National Geographic but only have a budget of $250. If you land them, then they will have you tied up for days/weeks with endless revision/changes and if that happens, you can't be out looking for clients who CAN pay you for your work.

One of the most successful things I've done is to offer, at no charge, short clips of the client's video for them to use on their website or on their social media platforms. That way they can hit multiple media outlets with only a single production cost. So if I am shooting a 2 minute video for their website, I will make 2-3 short video clips that would play well on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and their website. I then talk it up and explain the extra value I bring to them as a business partner helping them reach there video outlets they might not have considered. In your arena, you might be able to cut a couple shorter audio clips of you client who wants a demo reel of their songs. Then they could uses those shorter audio clips for their website or social media sites. Anyway in short, I learn what my competitors are doing and look for gaps they don't do or they charge for and I fill that gap with either a significantly reduced cost or zero cost as an added incentive to sign with me. Good luck and hope this helps.
