Starting over after the depression in 2008 we are now rebuilding what was lost through a new real estate company. We have the experience and knowledge to do that.

Face to face with the decision maker of the Real Estate Company you wish to speak with about staging. We pay no attention to email or snail mail flyers that would attempt to get our attention. Making an appointment and having a professional presentation would make the most sense to me.

There are some courses like Dale Carnegie that help those that are introverts feel more comfortable when starting up conversations. Personally I carry my business card with me all the time. If I walk into an environment where there are people I say "there has to be someone in this room that needs to buy or sell some real estate". Most of the time it gets a laugh from those that are there. Several times though someone takes my card and then a portion of those call me. If you are uncomfortable talking with people then like maybe someone else said it may not be the best place for your efforts that is engaging others in conversations. It may be that social media provides a better platform in getting your message out than personal conversations.

What brings you the most enjoyment? At our age it is more important to be doing what "fits" you instead of what produces the most income. If you want that bad enough you can make it happen.
Sometimes the best way to deal with an adversary is to pray for them. It appears you can do nothing about it legally but you can "heap burning coals of fire on their head" if you pray for them. One thing you cannot do is let them stop your progress or growth of your business.

Most buyers have a relationship with their lender before they come to see me. However if they do not I generally give them a list of folks I have dealt with before that have been successful in getting loans approved.

Join civic clubs and become active in a local church. Join the PTA, attend all chamber of commerce functions. Study commercial real estate to add to residential.
