How We Got Started
A diagnosis of the autism in my son twenty plus years ago and lack of information that could support my advocacy journey compounded cultural inhibitors to my advocacy. As I learned, I taught! Now this is my mission statement!

I started publishing my books, advocating and my radio show to educate on the challenges families on the spectrum face daily. It was self-serving in an effort to build supports for my autistic son. Now it is to help my world-wide family. Autism affects nearly 2% of the worlds population! I’m now just beginning a teaching career and building my business. Failing to me is giving up, and for me that’s not an option. You have to understand your true measure of success, if it’s only monitory , get a job. You will have to live off passion for a while before you see a financial return. Go all in or fold.

I am not only broadening my scope of potential listening population for my radio show, I plan to reissue my autism children's book series as well as launch my radio shows sister television show, NSV Live! I believe that all of my media sources will work in concert to better support not only the autistic community, but also other populations with developmental and intellectual disabilities. I am embracing opportunities instead of feeling as if I am inadequate. I am an expert in my field and I am owning it. My voice is valuable.
