Started in 1992 with just a few clients and have grown to over 500 Clients and are currently looking to move into an office building and move my in home office out of our home. This will be a great growth for KKT Accounting Service, Inc.

How We Got Started

Working for Corporate World and was tired of making money for my boss and not being appreciated. Decided to go out on my own and help my clients save money and make money and at least the little guy would get ahead.

A client came to me with a bill from the IRS for over $12,000.  She was not able to pay it.  She showed me the tax return and the letter from the IRS and after my review I said we need to meet with the IRS.  She told me I already have had a CPA that I hired  meet with the IRS and I paid that firm... (more) A client came to me with a bill from the IRS for over $12,000.  She was not able to pay it.  She showed me the tax return and the letter from the IRS and after my review I said we need to meet with the IRS.  She told me I already have had a CPA that I hired  meet with the IRS and I paid that firm over $500.00 and I still owe the IRS over $12,000.  I told my new client call the IRS back and get another appointment and we will meet with them.  A couple weeks later we met with the IRS agent and reviewed over the information on this client's tax return and showed proof of all items listed and a couple weeks later the IRS sent my new client a letter stating there was no change in her tax return.  I saved this client over $12,000 and have kept a lifetime client for my extra work that I put into the audit.  I always put myself in my client's place and try to make sure I do the best I can to make sure I am fair and have done all I can to get my client the best answer on their tax return.  Oh and by the way my charge to this client was also around $500.00 but I spent time having all documents in very good order before we went in to the IRS, having an appointment with the client reviewing over all of the deductions they had taken on the return, and meeting with the IRS.  The other accountant only went to the IRS to represent the client and never fought for the client just agreed with the IRS. You sometimes have to go that extra mile for your client and prove to the IRS that all deductions were deductible.  This is a $12,000 success story!

With taxes the more questions I ask of my clients the more I learn about them and make sure I get every deduction they are allowed on their taxes. So I ask a lot of questions. I have had new clients that have had their taxes done with the chain tax stores for years say I have never been asked that question before why do you need to know that and I explain there is a deduction for that and then they calm down and say really. Why was I not asked that question before? And I respond because no one took the time to make sure that they were getting every deduction they could to save you money. I also do financial advising so while I am doing someones taxes and know a lot about them I can offer my financial advice. For instance I reviewed over one of my clients 401 K with her job and rearranged how she had things invested because she said no one help her and explain it to her. After one year of this rearrangement of investments my client made $100,000 more on her investment. This was complimentary to my client. I also help people get invested in IRA's, SEP IRA's, and small businesses 401 K's. This helps my clients save money on their taxes and also save money for retirement. My clients get the best of both worlds!!!!

I always tell them you get what you pay for. You can get the box (software sold in a box that does not talk) or you can get professional service that will save you $1,000's over the price you pay for the services!!! Always contact a tax preparer whenever you get a notice from the IRS. Especially if they have sent a bill. In my experience I have seen that over 75% of the time the IRS is wrong with the amount they are charging the taxpayer in most of their letters. I have only had 1 or 2 that I could not... I wrote a rebuttal for the same thing a client lied about my services. The client did not understand the rules of the IRS and I had no choice but to prepare their tax return the way I prepared it. I use Sage for 95% of my clients and use Quikbooks for the rest. On all we use an outside merchant Elavon. Elavon ended up saving me hundreds of dollars in fees from another merchant.
