Volunteers In Medicine is a primary care medical clinic for low-income, underserved adults and their households in Lane County who can’t afford health care.
How We Got Started
Sister Monica Heeran brought Volunteers In Medicine to Lane County 20 years ago. She saw a need for the underserved in our community and found a way to provide free medical care to this population. Volunteers In Medicine still lives its Mission, "to understand and serve the health and wellness needs of the medically underserved who live and work in Lane County."
