O miss all of the owner managed shops that gave character to the areas.  It is hard to be unique in a world of chain stores. (more) O miss all of the owner managed shops that gave character to the areas.  It is hard to be unique in a world of chain stores.

The work will have to be pretty strong though to compete with the others that galleries are currently showing so don't feel bad if nothing happens quickly but do feel free to ask for feedback. There are also a lot of artists selling through art shows Also some sell direct on line though that will make it more difficult to get into galleries. There are now a lot of art coop galleries and this also is a good way to get your art out there.

Check out the facebook and twitter terms most used by collectors. You may not have much local but try to get a national group going. (more) Check out the facebook and twitter terms most used by collectors. You may not have much local but try to get a national group going.
