Cell phones have definitely changed the atmosphere of meetings for organizations and businesses alike. I think if clear expectations for cell phone use are communicated at the beginning of a meeting, people will honour that request. Leaving leeway for those who may have emergency factors or...

Cell phones have definitely changed the atmosphere of meetings for organizations and businesses alike. I think if clear expectations for cell phone use are communicated at the beginning of a meeting, people will honour that request. Leaving leeway for those who may have emergency factors or family situations (I have a daughter on the ASD spectrum and need to check in periodically in case of messages) is important. People can miss important information if they’re distracted by their screens, as well as opportunities for input.
Programs and services built around each clients interests and goals. Keeping an element of fun, staying relevant and approachable. Being open and reflective of client input and requests. It’s a constant evolution that keeps us learning and adapting.
