How We Got Started
My husband! After many years of moving around, that always included renovating, remodeling, building, updating...he encouraged me to attend interior design school. I had my first client before I finished university. We have recently become St. Pete Beach fulltimers, and I look forward to working with fun clients and exciting projects.

As a small business owner in Florida, my target client is local. I have a presence on LinkedIn, but don't update or really pay much attention to it. If I am asked to connect with someone, I usually will if it is related to my business, but random requests...no. There are so many social media obligations at this point, that I would rather get the word out about my business locally, using Facebook, Instagram and Alignable. Have I ever received a lead or client from Alignable? No...but I do want people to know who I am, what I do and that I'm local.

I prefer to have both parties at the initial meeting, and get input from both of them. I always ask who is making the final decision...but it usually comes down to who is writing the check.

As an interior designer, I prefer my office neutral. It keeps me from being distracted when working with client's fabrics and colors. However, the rest of my house is full of color!
