My business is numbers and people. I still love learning as well and interested in sharing knowledge based on decades of learning and hands-on experience. Technology is awesome but overwhelming for some. I grew up on a farm and love furry animals. Agriculture is a respected and under-appreciated occupation. Old school but valuable.
How We Got Started
When I started learning bookkeeping over 50 years ago it became important to learn and grow. Started tax preparation and found so many people needed informed service including my parents who were farmers. Lots of publications provided the knowledge to expand my abilities. That interest has never died.

I find small businesses like mine are suffering due to inflation and economic insecurity. I promote Quickbooks Online to most of my clients because it allows business owners to see real-time results and make decisions during the fiscal year to improve profitability for positive changes. This software also allows real-time bank account updates via bank connect (if desired) . With training the business owner can handle invoicing and payments and making deposits, submitting receipts for payments and other tasks that he/she is not comfortable sharing. Financial statements may be provided monthly and reports can be customized to suit the client needs. An audit log provides proof of sign-ins and tasks completed for every minute of the day. Payroll can be paid via direct deposit and updates are performed within the software. A great choice all around. Oh yes, the software integrates with pdf or office software.

This was the basis for the remote business I operate today as a senior. Word of mouth referrals work great. I love technology.
