These can be a husband and wife and we can share with them coverage options from major carriers. There is no underwriting, and you can have preexisting conditions covered day 1. They have HMO - Health Maintenance Organization - closed network onl in network doctors/services can be used, referrals are needed from primary care physician to any specialists needed. PPO Preferred Provider Organization - allows for in an out of network providers to be used without any referrals needed to specialists. The group plans typically have better prescription drug coverage than plan available on the individual side.
To set up a group health plan you need to have a state filed proof of business, Employer Identification Number (EIN), Business Checking Account, and a minimum of two employee's.
