Welcome to our home, Avonview Manor and Wedding Pergola, which is nestled in Stratford's prestigious, historically-designated west end on "The Hill". Built in 1916, by prolific businessman, George Kalbfleisch, Avonview Manor is demonstrative of the highest quality, Edwardian architecture, sophisticated design and superior craftsmanship. This original single-family dwelling was established by Kalbfleisch, who was a progressive innovator.

Today, this gorgeous B&B offers 4 elegant suites; each with its own unique character & charm. All of our suites have been freshly renovated with a mix of eclectic, antique & thematic fixtures that create atmosphere for our guests.

Your resident host, RL aka Rock'n Rev. Rhonda (certified wedding/reunification officiant/celebration of life celebrant) offers unique, personally-tailored ceremonies that are super-memorable, and uplifting.

This past season, my business grew exponentially from 2017; and by the fall, I was starting to demonstrate signs of fatigue. My husband suggested (actually, insisted) that I book some time off for "me-time". So although, I was still in-season, I took a money-maker weekend to attend to myself. ... (more) This past season, my business grew exponentially from 2017; and by the fall, I was starting to demonstrate signs of fatigue. My husband suggested (actually, insisted) that I book some time off for "me-time". So although, I was still in-season, I took a money-maker weekend to attend to myself. Two of my fellow September-born girlfriends joined me for a weekend of massages, late night fireside drinks, long talks, long forested walks, excellent food and hydro-therapy at a world-class, luxury spa-resort in Ontario. I came back refreshed to complete the end of season. Next year, I plan to take regular down-time. It's easy to get too caught up in the wheel, and forget oneself and our balance of work-life. We have to remember that the service we provide to others is only as good, as we ourselves look and feel.

We feel that our price structure is absolutely justified by the quality of service and goods we offer. We are aware that we are not the most expensive, nor are we bottom shelf. We go the extra mile for our clients, and they do not complain about the price-tag. We do get 'nagged' by certain... We go the extra mile for our clients, and they do not complain about the price-tag. We do get 'nagged' by certain platforms to adjust our prices in off-season to align with our competition, but we hold to our Father's words, "Never under-cut yourself."

Formerly, I owned a country retreat in Northumberland County, and I was advised strongly not to list on TA. Since purchasing Avonview Manor, Stratford, I decided to give it a try, and have been very pleased with the results. I find them professional, supportive and a great ace in the pocket. I...
