How We Got Started
Kesha always wanted to be a entrepreneur. Her parents owned an arcade when she was little and would watch them the run their arcade business and call herself helping them run it. She would pretend to have employees with her dolls. Once she started working and gained the necessary skills, she would tell myself she can do this as a business. She pondered on the idea for several-several years and she started KEKE Productions in January 2019!

My funniest story is when I was a little girl but thought I was grown😆😆. My parents owned a arcade with all the best games! I would go with them but thinking I was the owner and I would tell everybody what to do and what not to do because I’m the BOSS!! I would help count the money 💰 and organize the back office. So one day at “work” I was playing PAC-Man. My father came from the back office, Kesha, you’re supposed to helping me run the aracade not playing the video games. I turned an gave him this look and said, hey I’m a kid and I’m doing what kids do..this is a arcade Dad!! He just busted out laughing and said, you right, you are just a kid that wants to run a business but still play games!! I wanted to run the business but the kid in me wanted to play PAC-Man 😆😆😆😆!!

Starting my business was a calling to me and not to mention, I watched my parents run a Arcade business from the beginning to the end..so I guess it's in the blood as well. My passion was fashion (still is) but by working in the federal government for 20+ years, I said I can do what I do here and turn it into a business and I did officially launch in January 2019!! It's so many other ventures I want to pursue-like..starting a nonprofit, adding my fashion/style/image to the business, and adding other services.
I used Thumbtack but haven't had any luck with it. It's like you put in a proposal, if reviewed you may get lucky and if not, you get your money back. I'm not as active on thumbtack either or maybe I'm just using the platform wrong or my proposals aren't hitting the potential client like it...
