How has the pandemic taken a toll on people’s health?

This is going to be a major issue in the future as well as being a significant health issue right now. Currently I am making sure that my patients have good levels of Vitamin D and Glutathione since low levels of these, particularly Glutathione are implicated in higher Covid mortality.
My concern for the future is that the delayed detection of readily treatable health issues such as melanomas and GI cancers, will go untreated for too long resulting in ultimately higher mortality. Patients are not treating soon enough after traumas as well and this can lead to otherwise preventable surgeries. This does not take into the account the psychological problems caused by all of the isolation. The elderly will no doubt show greater issues with declining health the the youth will likely do poorly academically and very poorly socially.
So I am advising my patients to stay active inside the home and to take care on any issue that needs attention immediately while avoiding unnecessary exposure when doing so.
