Paids ads on Facebook can work if you pay for a slick compelling video and have the funnel and landing pages to support it. If you just throw up an image without thinking this through - you may as well throw your money out the window. Google ads work much better than facebook. Again its only as good as your ad and how well you target your customer. And all of that fails if you dont have your website funnel setup properly to close the sale when the ad drives them there. If you have to ask this question, its time to higher a professional.
