The are plenty of companies that can form a business entity for you for a reasonable fee plus state filing costs. A Google search will lead you to them. I would rather not provide their names in writing here because I do not want to show any favoritism to one company vs. another.

My experience has been rather frustrating and disappointing. Some banks cooperate while others do not. There is no banking uniformity and each has its own application forms without rhyme or reason. Many banks have ignored their small business customers while providing funds to larger companies...

My experience has been rather frustrating and disappointing. Some banks cooperate while others do not. There is no banking uniformity and each has its own application forms without rhyme or reason. Many banks have ignored their small business customers while providing funds to larger companies with sufficient cash and probably don't need the handout while small mom and pop shops suffer a lack of cash flow and potential extinction. It's yet to be seen if a second round of funding will correct the inequity.

I don't foresee any advantage v. disadvantage. The only caveat in my estimation is can your tax preparer get it done or does he/she need time to prepare your tax filings correctly and without unnecessary stress.

Suzanne, your post looks like a trick question to me. If you're price shopping I'm certain you can always find someone cheaper. The $1,785 fee for two years of federal and state tax prep could actually be reasonable depending on the service providers hourly rate, the complexity of your work, the...

Suzanne, your post looks like a trick question to me. If you're price shopping I'm certain you can always find someone cheaper. The $1,785 fee for two years of federal and state tax prep could actually be reasonable depending on the service providers hourly rate, the complexity of your work, the number of states involved, the professional's education, credentials, designations, skill level, experience, business overhead, et cetera. The more you do the less time a professional has to devote to the prep of your work and the less your fee will be. However, if you want quality, experience, and skill, you have to pay for it. Good luck, stay well, and be happy.
