How We Got Started
Formerly a senior mechanical designer, working in conjunction with the appointed design teams in a large E/A firm in Toledo. Wanted to do with some of my own designs and patents i've been working on and liked the idea of renewable energy systems.

The governments Federal, state and local failed to respond to this event in a timely manner. The long term effect will be by the small and medium-sized businesses. People are scared because of political media hype driven by profit and loss statements rather than common sense. Install appropriate measures at home, hospitals, and business earlier could have reduced the effects of flu and Coronavirus, but having leadership that is only looking to profit, America gets what it deserves!
I got a lot of people asking about viruses and their homes and office, so here's my best shot! The home unit attached is from Home Depot and has UV, Ozone and Hepa and charcoal filters. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Ne... The system is reasonably priced, make sure they have additional filters as companies often upgrade models over the year and may not stock the filters after a new version or model is introduced. There are other systems available and that can be just as effect. There is no machine that can stop everything out there, but you can reduce risk.
For larger HVAC units, UV light can be put in the mixing box area, so as the air is circulated the airborne contaminants will come in contact with the lights and over time the building will be deleted. There will be increased maintenance costs as well as the electrical cost of installing UV in larger units. https://commercial.ultravation... To be in a small business you must have the (3) three "P's" especially a small minority business in America. The (3) "P's" of life and small business, 1st Peaceful, most people we deal with have learned and media focused beliefs and perceptions of who they think Black People are, so they have a hard time seeing us in technical spaces. We all have risk in life and fail, getting up each time is the important part. Because of people's beliefs and media sometimes their aggressive nature comes out first, if I become aggressive too, the chance of a sale is greatly reduced. Case in point, a company in Whitehouse, Ohio called and wanted to talk about energy reduction and solar for their facilities, so we set a meeting time and drove out to meet with them. The one owner was excited to see us, brought us in and sat us down in their conference room, but the other owner on seeing us had a visceral dislike and cough not even set at the table and talk to us, Being minorities we understood immediately what was going on, but his partner did not. They did not throw us out but were very happy when we left, often, people cannot overcome how they were raised and or were indoctrinated to believe, that is what most hate is, indoctrination. After working 31 years as a designer in a major engineering firm locally that did not allow Black's to be engineers at the firm and could only be classified as a mechanical designer, I know peacefulness. I designed facilities all over the world and raised 7 adoptive kids that are all doing well, Elohim did not put us here to learn to be timid but peaceful in dealing with others in another thing.
Secondly, in a small business, we must be patient, we started the solar and energy efficiency part of the company in 2013. Of course, that was the same year the Stae of Ohio decided to have a moratorium on renewable energy for 2 years. So, we kept going by doing small mechanical design projects and energy savings projects with other companies and collaborating a lot on small projects. We helped design small solar project in smaller towns in southern Ohio up as far as Kenton. Patience is something every small business owner battles with constantly when trying to drive sales, but the market for your product can be as fickle and the that of a becalmed sailing waiting for the right breeze to take you home. You feel a slight breeze start to fill the sails, then just as you start to move, the breeze falls off and there you set waiting again.
But, persistence can lead to the positive, we persist because we believe in the things we do and the products we sell and in time that at least some people will need your service and reach out. Persistantance, though banks and family and friends may not believe at first, the entrepreneur must be willing to lose everything in his endeavor to be successful, there is nothing else like it, long days and sometimes long nights, but always moving forward!
So, the (3) P's, be peace, patient, and persistent in all you do, success is right around the corner, you may never make a billion dollars, but the success is not always in the money but in the trying, when you make a particular sale and you feel the accomplishment in your heart and soul, then you have succeeded!

Anything from changing out heating equipment to saving water, compressed air systems to production furnaces, that's what it should be about. However if you don't own your facility many owners don't care about utility cost it's just up to you to conserve by changing your practices, if all the tenants want to save its going to be you as a group that ask for solar or equipment changes.

Being a indigenous peoples company in the energy arena, 1 most people are not use to us providing this type of service to there businesses or communities. So it takes us more time to make sales and educate people on systems, technologies and us so they are comfortable enough to consider our product and give us the chance to help them. Still today we can walk into business and have people that will not even set at the table with us, this life in America we move on to the next guy, but it takes time out of the day to go to appointments. Sometimes we spend a week with no real prospects in the area sometimes we pick up four or five that will at least want a proposal for a system. I always say we are better engineers than we are marketers, but in a small business somebody has to be the face in the streets, we may not like it and sometimes it feels more like a shore than what we like to do "Design", but it all works out.
