Local Discussions What's happening in the Tomball business community
Quick thing to try this week if you have a storefront, a shop, or a work truck: take three fresh photos with your phone and swap them in wherever people find you.
Not staged ones. Just the front door, a clean corner of the work area, and one of your team doing what they do. If your photos still show last summer, a closed sign, or a logo that's since changed, people can't tell you're open and doing well.
Natural light, a wiped-down lens, and holding the phone sideways is honestly all it takes. Ten minutes, and your listing looks like you again.
What's the newest photo of your business right now?

Here's a two-minute check that's easy to forget: call your own business line today and listen to what a customer hears.
Does the voicemail greeting still match your hours? Does it say your name and the business name clearly? Is there a mention of a holiday schedule that already passed, or a team member who's moved on?
A lot of people will check your listing, then call once. If they get a greeting that sounds current and friendly, they usually leave a message. If it sounds like an old recording, they move on to the next name on the list.
When's the last time you called your own number?

A simple habit I'd recommend to any small business owner around Tomball: keep a running list of the questions customers ask you over and over.
"Do you take walk-ins?" "Is there parking out front?" "How long does it usually take?" Every time you hear one twice, jot it down.
Then put those answers where people actually look before they call: your Google listing, your Facebook page, and the front page of your site. You'll answer fewer of the same questions, and new customers walk in already feeling like they know you.
