How Do I Increase Traffic to My Online Magazine?
Answered by:
Hello Melody,
There are several ways you can do this. How much time do you have personally to devote to this or are you needing someone to do this for you? I can help in either way. If you are going to do this your self. You have to work your Facebook page devoted to your magazine at least twice a day. Tie your posts to your linkedin page, twitter page and any other online voice you have. Link all those to your website or magazine as well. This in itself is a 1/2 day job if you want the best results. Advertise outside of the internet. And there are so many other things you can do. I would like to visit with you about your magazine.

Hi Violet. Thank you for your response. My FB page and Twitter account are linked. Every time I post, it goes to both accounts. Also, each time I post to FB, it sends out a tweet. I admit that I'm not terribly engaging on FB. I have found that I get the most engagement when I post something personal or a photo of myself. (I'm, frankly, uncomfortable with sharing this type of information, even if it's just a selfie.) For example, I posted about the beginning of FW today with a link to the NYFW site so people could livestream the shows, if they wanted. I thought that would be great for EB readers, fashion lovers, or so I thought. Ugh, the post generated little to no interest. I hope it will grow legs as Fashion Week continues. I want to engage; I'm not sure how. And, no I don't post twice a day, only about three or four times a week. I must work on that. But what to post? That is one of my problems. As for advertising, I don't have the funds to put into that, other than FB ads which are relatively reasonable. Thank you so much for your considered response. Best, Melody
