This is a great question. I was with clients the other day and they told me it was ok to remove my mask as they were clear of Covid-19. I thanked them but let them know I need still, to protect my Family and other Families I am visiting today.

This is a great question. I was with clients the other day and they told me it was ok to remove my mask as they were clear of Covid-19. I thanked them but let them know I need still, to protect my Family and other Families I am visiting today.
Then I received a email from a friend that starts telling me about how a person she knows woke up with a terrible cough and went to the doctor to find he has Covid-19 He felt he did not have Covid prior and He went to see some buddy's and did not keep the social distancing. The all went for some pizza and drinks his buddy with the same mind set went to see his grandfather and found that he had now spread it to him and he passed away. Another buddy at the gathering also met up with another friend and gave it to him, who then took it home and gave it to his wife with MS and now she is in a comma. That is how easy it can happen. I can only hope that everyone stays safe and practices distancing so we can all enjoy the times we have. Please wear a mask!!!
As far as my staff we are all wearing masks and i just purchased some face shields. I understand now that Covid-19 is spread by moisture that comes from someone mouth and if you can protect against that you will be far ahead. If everyone wore masks that that would stop the spread as well, and of coarse keep washing your hands.
I wish everyone great health, and together we can stop this but we do need to work at it.

When I was Brian T. Fletcher construction I turned to my association like the Toronto Home builders. Now that i am with Alair homes we have a weekly conference call with all owners of Alair. We are around 125 offices now in Canada and the US. If I have any questions for business advice that is where is start. I also have great support within Alair, and have a regional Manager that I can call on at any time. For those that do not have the same support they should be looking to see what associations they can join and other companies they can call on. They should start here with a question and see who on Alignable can assist.
I like them all. Can I say one works better than the others ? not really. I feel that you need to be out there, and over some time, people see you more and more often, and you will finally get noticed.

I like meeting people, there is so much knowledge out there and it is so great having a conversation with someone and hearing a totally different view or take on something. There is so much to learn, and when you stop seeking knowledge you are going in reverse.

Yes, once the job is landed and the client has paid their final invoice a referral percentage can be sent to the people that did the referring. I feel they should be compensated for their efforts in assisting us to get more work.
