Recruit King is a boutique Head Hunter who only works on a set number of searches at one time. The reason for this, is because Mike's clients hire him (and him alone) to conduct ALL aspects of their work. Unlike most search firms, Mike doesn't delegate any part of the search process to junior or ill-equipped employees. Engaging someone who is not looking for a new job is a critical part of the process, and Mike's clients expect him to lead this important function in addition to conducting all interviews and managing the project.

After 10 years in the search industry, Mike decided to start his own search firm that was focused on client service and retention as oppose to client growth. The careful attention needed to attract passive candidates (people who are not looking for work) requires skill, experience, deep client knowledge and the ability to quickly and clearly communicate a win/win opportunity to a potential candidate.
