The biggest failure with marketing agencies and freelance is that they don't educate the client on what it takes to have the phones ring and have online appointments scheduled.
To explain that content is king.
What is content writting.
What is video content
Why it's needed
Why its not just google and generic or organic work, that's needed.
What's ppc?
Why use ppc etc.
Explain to your client in clarity what's important to materialize N whats not important.
To explain what keywords mean and how they play a huge role in marketing campaigns.
Ultimately you are taking an entrepreneurs money to convince him that you will have his phones ringing.
To convince, you have to educate how and why things work in the www
The world wide web!

Carlos, you're right that content is king, but content needs two things:
1. It must address a prospect's information needs, not your information desires; and
2. It has to be dispassionate. If it's too focused on "the sale" it may not work because people don't want to be sold.
